Every month I get the $10/USD IPSY Subscription. It is usually a miss each month and I often give away the items or if they are broken and shattered, I throw them away. Often my items are broken and I always take 2 photos with proof of my mailing address with the item broken and another photo of a close up of the item that is damaged. I have never had an issue with ISPY Care, maybe because include the two detailed photographs and mention how upset I am by the damages with my bag? They usually replace the damaged items or give my money back if the item is sold out, sometimes with shipping cost included. I would say overall it takes them less than a day to get back to me.
This months bag was really cute! I loved the pink lips that covered the bag. The changes I noticed with the bag was the zipper. It seemed to be a little wonky, by that I mean when you zip the bag shut it moves slowly and I worry it could get stuck and break apart. They usually use different types of zippers. more lightweight and not so thick which are usually easier to close the bag.

Items Included:

EYEKO Lash Alert Mascara - Black
SUGAR COSMETICS It's A-Pout Time! Vivid Lipstick - "Better Call Salmon"

Extra Items I paid extra for called the "ADD ONS":

Details of my monthly bag:
They don't usually include a card insert of the items you have received in the bag, but I found it to be rather helpful. I hope they continue with that for the rest of their monthly bags.

Final Thoughts:
I actually have gotten the DOUCCE Eyeliner and EYEKO's Mascara a few times in my bag. Which made it disappointing. I did not swatch or open this item because I will end up giving this item away. I don't know why I keep getting the same items over and over. I have changed the preferences and likes of my bag profile many times and recently! Yet, I still get these items. I really hate that about IPSY.
The company DOUCCE makes hit or miss items. The highlighters are EXCELLENT! Highly recommend those products. The eyeshadows are a hit or miss, sometimes the pigment is great but wears off quick. The packaging of their products are stunning! really nice heavy packaging, not cheap! The eyeliner for DOUCCE glided on no problem, it took a min to scrub off my arm. I have this eyeliner already and I know it works well! Nice thin black line...but I usually go for the thicker eyeliners. But I will be keeping this item!

The eyeshadow SPACE CASE went on nicely, beautiful pigment! can't wait to see how this works on my eyes. As for the lipstick, SUGAR COSMETICS, it did not leave a stain after using a beauty wipe. I have gotten that brand before, but not that particular shade "Better Call Salmon." I have to say that I hate how small it is. Feels like its for a child, because of how lightweight and small it is. The size of it makes it kind of awkward to use and I wouldn't want to use it in public. IPSY is known to only give sample size products, which it is why it costs $10.00/USD per month. So you do get what you paid for. Finally, The PURLISSE body butter, I love lotion items. My skin can get rather dry during the winter time and I appreciate a good body butter!! The smell is not as strong which is nice, it smells more like orange and coconut. I used a drop of it on my hand and did not need more. It definitely made my hands nice and soft!
The products I paid for which IPSY calls, "ADD ONS" were worth the $9 and change. They recently started the ADD ONS and since they began I believe in December of 2018, I have been purchasing the extras since. They are usually deluxe size products and brand names I usually use. I will purchase the brushes from different brands I have never heard of. It allows me to try the product which often lead to be favorites and my go-to's more so than my Morphe Brushes. Which has happened multiple times.

The double sided brush, AISLING ORGANICS, I have never used their products before, never even heard of them. I purchased it because it was a double sided brush and I recently worn out my other brush I have from another brand. It is always nice staple to have, both brushes are nice and soft and I am looking forward to using them! I worry though, that the F.A.R.A.H brush pink ombré chrome may rub off like my gold Morphe brushes have... which is the downside of having brushes like that.
I don't use a lot of face products, I don't break out too much and my skin is dry to normal. I do have acne scars and I also struggle with finding a GOOD product to cover up my pores when I use my foundation. When I saw, TOUCH IN SOL "No Pore Blem Priming Water" I thought it is a smaller sample size bottle which was good to test out and see if it will work on my skin. I'm hoping it works!
